The beautiful province of Krabi is quickly becoming one of the most visited areas of Thailand. Located in the south, Krabi is famed for its limestone formations, calm crystal seas and powdery beaches. Krabi Town is one of the most visited towns in the province, since it serves as a departure point for ferries to the islands in Phangna Bay, such as Phi Phi Island and Koh Lanta. There are several beaches of note on the mainland close to Krabi Town, including Ao Nang and Railay Beach.
